Premiere Pro & After Effects · macOS

A night of keyframing,
one pass.

Shakes on the 808s, whips on the cuts, hits on the downbeats, flashes on the edits — placed off the song's own energy. The night goes back to the work that pays.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Does it touch my footage?
No. Everything lands as adjustment layers on tracks named AutoVFX Shakes, AutoVFX Whips, AutoVFX Hits and AutoVFX Flash, created above your existing video tracks. Your footage and your grade are never modified.
What if I don't like what it placed?
Move the dials and Generate again — re-running clears those four tracks first, so you never stack duplicates. Or edit the pass by hand: every clip is an ordinary adjustment layer with ordinary keyframes.
What happens when I re-cut the video?
Run it again. The panel re-reads the sequence, so it uses the new cut points — a new edit isn't a new night of keyframing.
Isn't this just a preset pack?
A preset pack hands you the effect and leaves you the job: finding every 808, dropping a layer on each, keyframing it, redoing it when the edit changes. The placement is the work, and that's the part AutoVFX does.
Is there a Windows build?
Not today. The installer is a signed macOS .pkg and the engine expects mac paths for Python. The panels are CEP, so Windows is packaging work rather than a rewrite.
Do I have to install Python or anything else?
No. The audio analysis runs on Python, and a self-contained Python runtime ships inside the package for both architectures — no Homebrew, no Xcode command line tools, no pip, and no network connection during installation. That's what the 186 MB download is. The installer verifies the engine actually runs before it finishes.
Apple Silicon or Intel?
Both, natively, from one file. The installer picks the right runtime for your Mac.
Do I need an effect library?
Not for Premiere — shakes, whips, hits and flashes are generated by the engine. The After Effects look panel is the part that wants your own .ffx presets, since that content is licensed separately and isn't bundled. Point it at your folder on first launch.
How finished is this?
is a shipping build — signed, notarised and stapled by Apple, self-contained, and tested by installing it on a clean Mac rather than only on the machine it was built on. It's a young tool, not a decade-old plugin with a support desk, but it is meant for real work.
